Brexit Letter to David Cameron

It was almost three years after the great recession and the UK economy showed no sign of growth. Everyone looked for someone to blame. So did the new enthusiastic Prime Minister, David Cameron.  Politicians, bankers, economists, ministers.Oh no they were too powerful to attack! Public needed someone or some groups who were well weakened, had little rights to defend themselves, whose skin colors were slightly darker than theirs, whose genders were not yet fully accepted or recognized, whose religion was already stigmatized. And there were three groups of people who met all those criteria.Muslims, immigrants and women.

David Cameron, whose incompetency no longer needs a proof, was quick enough to develop extreme anti-immigration policy. He spread strong nationalist sentiment across the country to the point of racism which caused young, angry, frustrated youth to attack Muslims and immigrants explicitly. Surely, short sighted prime minister could not see how the same bullet was going to kill him only after five years. And then that shameless big van! They drove it around London streets and ordered immigrants to go home! Well, their homes were now battlefields! Thanks to Compassionate Conservative PM and his democracy distributor, human rights protector, oil hungry allies! They had no home to return! Where could they go? Weren’t they in the heaven of democracy?

In the meantime, scandalous MPs’ expenses were exposed. Government bailed out too big to fail banks for messing up with the public. What was wrong with that?PM Cameron, who once defined himself as compassionate conservative, continued attacking the weakest groups of the public instead. Muslims, immigrants and women! He forced them to pay the price through austerity measures in his best capacity. Unemployed youth mirrored the same rottenness back at him; explosive riots and embarrassing looting began while women and immigrants quietly paid the price. But wasn’t unemployment also immigrants’ fault? Of course, too big to fail dodgy banks were right, they had done nothing wrong,it was all immigrants’ fault!

And now Brexit! Why do you even look surprised Dear Mr Cameron? Isn’t that what you were supposed to reap after  what you sowed in the British public’s heart? Politics is a serious business Dear Prime Minister! You cannot play with public sentiments!Let me tell you how you will be remembered dear very Compassionate Conservative! You will be remembered as someone who spread hatred in such a beautiful land like England instead of love! Someone who was not even capable to clean up his own mess but quickly resigned when the truth began to shine in the end! Now, everyone knows that none of those was immigrants’ fault, after all! I hope you get better dear Compassionate Conservative! I hope you learn how to love!

Here is the novel I wrote while you were busy torturing the immigrants including myself! It is called “The Bloody Foreigner”. I am only able to publish it now. After disastrous Brexit. That was because everyone thought that you were right before Brexit accident. They sincerely believed you.I was weakened to my marrows to defend myself.Eventually I began hating myself after all your anti-immigration attacks that lacked compassion. Every immigrant hated themselves as you made the public hate them. So I quietly left your land. I am still recovering from all that I experienced if you care to know at all.

Now I cannot even imagine how awful it must be to be an immigrant in England. I have read about anti-immigration attacks in London, Birmingham on the internet. I am sincerely sorry to hear that. And I am sorry for all the innocent people, who will have to suffer from the consequences of the Brexit.

However I still dedicate this novel to you! To the Compassionate Conservative. I dedicate it to all immigrant haters to say that LOVE is the only solution. Please read it when you think you are finally able to empathize for other human beings. So that you can appreciate the painful journey of my immigrant protagonist! Consequences of Brexit will also help you with that…Like no little immigrant ever could…

Brexit was not an accident Dear Prime Minister. It was the Universal Justice which usually occurs free from governments.

With love and peace,

A Bloody Foreigner.

“If you don’t give me enough love, if you don’t give me enough money, if you don’t give me enough knowledge that brings me wisdom I will be your worst enemy. I will never let you have peace!”, screamed youth , who were left voiceless for a long time, in London Streets. No one can ever know how true this statement is, as much as Londoners now do after being traumatised by the explosive riots of last week and re-traumatized by its governmental fight back this week.

Since the  poor kids broke their silence and showed the world how the country’s policy had ignored them , left them in poverty, left them in silence; the rest, who were shocked, have been woken up by the continuous sirens not by their alarm clocks every morning.

But what were all sirens telling us?

A rioter in Hackney.

A rioter in Hackney.

They were echoing across the country to acknowledge people that state and its laws were there to punish only the poor as the rich always steal by law. Otherwise we would have heard the same sirens when bankers robbed the country and dragged it to the  harshest economic crisis from which we are still trying to recover, which brought us social disasters like riots. The same sirens  somehow were silent when MPs stole from the state’s budget. They  were muted because MPs stole by law and even if they didn’t they were MPs.

Despite the legitimized theft and financial violence of the rich, the poor kids peacefully took the streets last December to reduce the sky high tuition fees to be able to study and maybe become the one who could make better laws for their country .But they were not heard, all they got was just a bit more violence from the police. Their parents, who can’t even spend time with them due to long work hours, marched to the streets peacefully on 26 March to oppose to pay the price of financial crime of the rich, namely publice spending cuts in austerity package. Were they heard? No!

They were not only unheard ,ignored or violated by the system ,they were also constantly provoked by the colourful ,most of the time immoral but still better accepted lives of others on the TV. No matter how high moral values those kids had, they were not accepted, they were not recognised in their society, where measure of everything was money. They had nothing, they were nothing.  And they didn’t steal like the rich with high status but low morals did, they didn’t know how to steal legitimately like the white collared ones did. They got angry more and more every day. The only thing they looked for was that to communicate with their state that stubbornly ignored them. They rioted, they were violated and they violated just like a rioter said in the scene that: “You got to fight fire with fire!”.

Did they get heard? We don’t know yet.

When London was burning and youth was screaming on the streets that: “Enough is enough! We, too, exist in this society!”Their Prime Minister was on holiday in Tuscan and took three days to return to the country. His reaction was as violent and insensitive as rioters’ actions. He ordered police to raid rioters’ homes that criminalised and punished every member of one family regardless their age, health and criminal records. However that wasn’t the answer that people wanted to hear.

People wanted know why that had happened, what was supposed to be done not to have it again? While rioters were “Facing the Justice” like PM said, leaders were facing these questions of which roots come from social and financial injustice.

Whether it was consequences of financial crisis or moral collapses in every part of society; whether it was the result  of  bad
parenting  or of  indirectly privatized education system; whether it was the result of unseen war on women; whether it was  the rights given with no responsibilities ;whether it was  discontented TV programmes that praise immoral personalities and present them as role models to the youth; whether it was  the partial media that never gives voice to victims of the system; whether they did it for fun or they did because they couldn’t find the way out, it is hard for one not to think and painfully ask that, why do we need explosive riots  to be heard if we live in a democratic society?

If today, leaders are going to inquire the riots to create a better society, whom de we need to thank? Do we need to thank those most of who committed the first crimes of their lives by rioting or leaders who never heard them but claimed to have built a  democratic society? Which ones are the real criminals of this social disaster? Did those kids not victimise themselves for
us to have a real democratic society?

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has held a press conference in Bloomberg News Channel today in London to discuss  Turkey’s economic and political significance in the Middle East and in the world.

Erdogan’s schedule for the day has  included meeting with Prime Minister David Cameron and his deputy Nick Clegg as well as The Quinn to discuss recent  international intervention in Libya, its reflection on the global economy  and Turkey’s key role in the region.

Turkish Prime Minister  expressed that he was very happy to see Turkey’s recent economy that has tremendously grown since his party came to power more than eight years ago. Economic growth rate of the country in 2010q4 was 9.2%,Erdogan stressed.

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan delivers his speech on Turkey's role in the Middle East Peace at Bloomberg in London today.

Turkey attracts ($12,5billion a year) international investment  due to trustworthy and consistent manner of his government, according to Erdogan. The construction sector is growing rapidly in Turkey. While unemployment rate is increasing in the globe it has been decreasing in Turkey and now it is only 11.9%.Erdogan also mentioned the election that will be held on 12th June in Turkey. However he added that his government didn’t need to make any specific budged for the election.

Erdogan took questions after his speech. When asked how he thinks the situation in the Middle East can change, Erdogan said he visited Ghaddafi when the uprising sparked for the first time in Libya. He asked Ghaddafi to release Turkey’s  and other countries’ citizens. Even though Ghaddafi promised to do so he was not able to act on the issue. However , said  Erodogan “Turkey managed to  release 20 000 Turks and 5000 foreigners ,that includes English people, from Libya.”

“Libya wants ceasefire but they don’t know the content of it, they can’t describe it. They couldn’t answer whether they want democratic regime or not which held Turkey back .” said Erdogan.NATO’s intervention should be on the ground of international law, it should be supported by the region, there should not be any obstacle to provide humanitarian aid during the intervention, according to Turkish Prime Minister. “Turkey is ready to provide humanitarian aid to Libya. My biggest hope is that Libya not  be like Afghanistan and Iraq and we bring peace to Libya soon. However it is not easy to transform autocracy to democracy and it takes time.” added Erdogan.

Bloomberg Spokesman mentioned Turkey’s effort to rescue a journalist of the Guardian and of NewYork Times from Libya.

When asked whether Europen Union is still Turkey’s priority as the country performed remarkably well during the recession and is still growing rapidly, Erdogan was pleased to receive this question and said:

EU is a project of modernity for Turkey however  EU is not very keen to accept Turkey and no country has ever been kept waiting for that long .Turkey’s first application for EU was done in 1959.Turkey is more developed than many of the EU members with its economy and democracy. Turkey will make EU stronger while gaining strength from it.However EU is no longer able to support its members like it used to do.”

Turkish Prime Minister said that EU had only 15 members when Turkey applied for membership in 1959.Since then, EU accepted 12 more countries to the club and its decisions have always been political. The main political concern that stopped EU from accepting Turkey is Cyprus.

“We say be fair, don’t act like a Christian Club like you do now. You don’t accept Turkey because it s a muslim country. However Muslim world believes that Turkey’s membership will be bridge between Christian and Muslim World. The world should serve for peace not for terrorism. But EU has a habit of changing the rules of penalty during the match. Turkey will be developing with or without EU!” said Erdogan and left Bloomberg to visit the Quinn.
